The Great Noblegarden TCG Egg Hunt Giveaway

From Wowhead News [LINK]
"Spring is in the air and Noblegarden is in full swing! In celebration, we've teamed up with our friends at Cryptozoic Entertainment to provide sixty fabulous prizes to give away including Corrupted Hippogryph codes and more!

So how do you play? The Wowhead community team has hidden ten Brightly Colored Eggs in our database and it's up to you to find them before the holiday week is over. We'll provide you the clues, but you'll have to do the rest of the sleuthing on your own.

For every clue you answer by visiting its respective database entry, you'll get entered into the contest through unlocking a special holiday Wowhead achievement. The achievement can be earned up to ten times meaning you have ten chances to win.

Participating is as easy as reading the riddles and going on a hunt through Wowhead's database while logged in. Use your own resources and get creative while looking for the answers; try searching for various keywords found in the clues and remember that Google is always your friend.

And if you get stuck, don't despair--some of them are hard while some are easy, so everyone should be able to get at least one entry into this contest!

Here are the ten clues for the ten eggs:

  1. Enjoy the Darkmoon Faire, but make sure you don't stray too far away from the crowd. You might end up dessert for this undead vendor who sells a variety of cannibalistic goods.
  2. If you're a seeker of rare spawns, you probably hate this low-level mob. It's such a let down whenever it spawns instead of the dragon it shares a spawn with.
  3. Want be a truly epic chef? You probably want to get this recipe then, I hear it really packs a kick.
  4. This is likely the rarest item in World of Warcraft; most players hadn't even seen it until its model was reused this past Fall for WoW's 8th Anniversary.
  5. Gnomes aren't always just for punting, you know. This cobbler will shine your shoes in Dalaran if you're interested.
  6. You'll go bananas trying to farm up this disguise, but it might just be worth it. Everyone will go wild when they see you use it.
  7. Put a spring in your step with this seasonal mount.
  8. They say every dog has his day, but this hound has been long since forgotten--even the prince he shares a dungeon with has probably forgotten him. He was optional after all.
  9. When you see someone on this extremely rare mount, you probably shouldn't stare or ask them how they got it. They might get bugged.
  10. Back in the Burning Crusade, there was an easily farmed consumable that tanks loved to save for sticky situations. It was their worst nightmare when it was removed from the game.

Solve these ten clues to receive ten entries and ten chances to win the contest!

If you get stuck on a number you can always ask your friends, Google, or even your guildmates. It's also important to know that a clue will always refer to a specific item or NPC--meaning if it's a mount, we want the item you learn the mount from, not the spell for it. You can also read the comments here at Wowhead and see if anyone has added another tip! Just make sure you don't post the exact answers here on Wowhead or you'll be disqualified and temporarily banned until the hunt is over.

So I'm no good with scavenger hunts, I found. I tried the first one, thought I knew how to quickly find the answer; was wrong. Tried the second one, thought I knew the answer but was wrong. I even tried to search wider and didn't find it. I'm just no good. Thankfully the internet is of great help.
How many can you get before you give up? Maybe I'd spend more time guessing but I was far too tired.
Skip down some if you don't want to be spoiled by the answers!

So let's talk about the prizes for this contest.

Grand prize is the Corrupted HippogryphI wouldn't mind getting this mount. I have a large assortment of mounts and this one seems to be fairly unique. It's been out for a few months and I'm not sure if I've seen any of them around. The card comes from the Crown of the Heavens card pack, with the chance of having one of 3 loot cards, which are all included in this contest.
True that it's just another reskin of the hippogryph mount but it's an interesting Outlandish style to it. If green is your favorite color, you might just fall in love with this thing. Ten lucky people will be flying around on this eerie looking thing.

First prize is ten winners of Crown of the Heavens Epic Collection. If you're into the TGC, trading card game, or World Of Warcraft whether it be a collector or an active player; this is probably a pretty big prize.I've never been much of a collector of these cards, and not much of a collector of anything lately; but it'd be nice to still have something like these. The cards are pretty, and maybe someday I could experiment in the game. If I didn't get this prize, however, I wouldn't be too heartbroken.
This prize includes;
  • 6 Crown of the Heavens Booster Packs
  • 1 Crown of the Heavens Playmat and Deckbox
  • Collectible storage box with class dividers
  • 1 Loot card
  • Crown of the Heavens visual pocket guide
  • 5 random foil Crown of the Heavens heroes
Which really gets you;
  • 64 Common
  • 60 Uncommon
  • 24 Hero
  • 60 Rare
  • 10 Epic
  • $3.99 MSRP per pack
The loot cards possible are Vicious Grell, Magical Ogre Idol, and Corrupted Hippogryph.

Second prize gets you the Magical Ogre Idol and a Champion Deck.
I definitely want the Ogre Idol.
Everyday I'm /dancin'!
It's sad that it only lasts for fine minutes. But for those five minutes I can pretend to be a fat jiggly creature that has the best dance moves ever.
As for the Champion Deck; you seem to get one of five different champions/classes.
There's Jaina Proudmoore (Mage), Dark Lady Sylvanas Windrunner (Hunter), Hogger (Warrior), Murkdeep (Shaman), and Elderlimb (Druid).
Each deck includes;
  • 60 Cards per deck, including 3 rare cards
  • 1 Hero card per deck
  • 1 Booster pack per deck
  • 5 Token cards
  • 1 Tips card
  • 1 Loot or crafting card
  • 1 Quick Start Guide
  • 1 Rulebook
  • 1 Bonus reprint card
  • $11.99 MSRP
Is it weird I want the Hogger deck just to see if it comes with a Hogger card? Also maybe the Sylvanas deck to see if she's included. I bet that's a nice looking card...
For me not ever having taken part of the card games or having any cards, I sure as hell want them.

The third and final prize is the Grell Moss and a Champion Deck.
Who doesn't want a little imp pet? The inclusion of the card deck makes it so much better though. Some people love pets but I have a feeling the deck is a lot more in value and in want overall. I could be wrong though. Personally I'd take him. I lightly collect companions as well. For warlock it might be a nice touch to have an imp companion ready for the Mists of Pandaria expansion; having their battles with a warlock-like companion. It'd be almost like sending your summoned imp into a new type of battle.

Well; that pretty much covers it completely. I think.
If not; feel free to leave a comment.
Good luck to all who attempt the riddles!
Good luck to all who wish to win anything!
I hope I win something but you know how many people enter these things, and surely others are more deserving.
Let me know if you could get the riddles on your own and which prize you'd want most of all!

See you next time.
Bai!
